General Information

Released in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, this is the third installment of the Metroid series and is a continuation of the story following the events of Metroid II. While the gameplay remains similar to its predecessors, the graphics and sound quality of Super Metroid was truly a landmark for the series as for the first time we were able to witness eery details of the game's surroundings combined with a well-composed soundtrack that aid this installment of the series in being arguably one of the best.
