Agriculture continues to play an important role in the economy of Idaho. Potatoes, their largest crop, wheat and hay are the largest crops produced. Idaho harvests more potatoes than any other state. Construction, food processing, lumber, and technollogy are leading industries. Manufacturing accounts for 1/5th of the gross state product.
