Rugby is the major sporting code throughout Oceania, with tournaments such as the Super 12 and Bledisloe Cup displaying local talent and the rivalry between Australia and New Zealand. Many Polynesians play the sport. Other major sporting codes in Australia and New Zealand include cricket, rugby league, netball and basketball. Many Australian states, especially Victoria, play Australian Rules football in the Australia Football League.
